I'm focused on building practical tools, experimenting with ideas, and keeping my projects clean and intentional. Lately I've been building desktop apps with Python and PySide6, keeping the UI simple, clear and shaped around what each app is designed to do.
I tend to approach things with a focus on structure and optimisation. That comes through in how I plan projects, organise my work, and break down problems, and it's the same mindset that pushes me to learn new skills and improve with each build.
Above everything else, I care about writing readable code, keeping things clear, consistent, and easy to work with.
- Python - main language for most of my projects
- PySide6 - used for the actual UI desktop development
- SQL - mostly used for backend data storage in my apps
- HTML/CSS - styling and layout for PySide6 widgets
- Linux, open‑source software, and the community that builds and shapes it
- Cybersecurity, networking, and IT as a whole, I like understanding the tech we rely on every day
- Gaming and game development, especially the smaller more creative indie side of things
- I enjoy the hands‑on, 'hacking' mindset of taking things apart, understanding how they work, and making them better.
