Hi there! π
First of all, thank you for maintaining this wonderful resource β it's been incredibly useful for discovering new extensions.
I'd like to suggest adding a section for Emacs / Org-mode users who are transitioning to (or using) VS Code alongside Emacs workflows. The list already has great coverage for Vim, Atom, Sublime Text, IntelliJ, and Visual Studio migrations, but there's nothing for Emacs users yet.
Org-mode is a deeply beloved tool in the Emacs community β used for note-taking, task management, literate programming, and more. There are a few solid VS Code extensions that bring org-mode support to the editor:
- vscode-org-mode β Syntax highlighting, folding, todo/agenda support, and basic org-mode editing features.
A possible placement could be under the "Migrating from other editors" section as a new ## Migrating from Emacs subsection, or alternatively as a new entry under Syntax for .org file support.
There are many old-school Emacs users who now work in VS Code and would appreciate having this bridging highlighted in the awesome list. π
Happy to open a PR if this sounds like a good fit!
